How long does it take to deliver?

Delivery period depends on the time it takes for our retail partners to deliver the goods to us, the period we require to repack and prepare for transport (usually a maximum of 48hours), flight, customs clearance and local transport for delivery to you. Our freight divisions are Specialist Worldwide Movers to Nigeria and are well experienced to manage safe and speedy deliveries. We PROMISE to deliver your goods to you within 7 WORKING DAYS after receipt. Note this is subject to unanticipated challenges with local Customs, and or civil unrest such as strikes .... etc.


Can we pay in local currency?

Yes you can pay in local currency. For now you can only make such payments via bank deposits and instant payments.

How can I make an order?

When you find an item you want to buy click Order Now and a page will open where you will be able to describe in detail the product you intend to purchase. You can add as many items as possible. When you have finished, submit your Order. A confirmation email will be sent to you immediately. Our customer service agents will contact you within 24 hours of placing your order.

Do I pay the stated advertised price for my goods?

Yes. You will pay the stated advertised price of the online store. If you are buying multiple items and there are discounts, we will pass the savings to you.
Please be aware that almost all UK stores charge for delivery of goods to us. This is a normal charge because we buy online. The more stores you buy from though, the more you might have to pay for delivery charges to us.

A: Meykaya International arranges to deliver orders to addresses nationwide in Nigeria. However, delivery rates and fees will vary depending on the weight (kg) and delivery address that items or products are to be delivered to.

Our Rates - Shipping & Delivery to Lagos, Nigeria:

A.) 0 - 2 kg = £35.00
B.) 2 - 5 kg = £60.00
C.) 5 - 10 kg = £80.00
D.) 10 - 20 kg = £90.00
E.) >20 kg = £4.5/kg

For delivery charges, unit of rate is calculated in Kilogram (kg)

VOLUMETRIC WEIGHT: You may be sending a large, light weight shipment where its volumetric weight exceeds its actual weight. If so, the cost of shipment is calculated on the space your consignment takes up.


Export by Air

To calculate the volumetric weight of your shipment, multiply the Length x Depth x Width of the shipment package and divide the result by 6000 if you have measured in centimeters. Divide by 366 if you have measured in inches.
For example, assume the actual weight of your shipment is 7kg, but the volumetric weight is:

50cm x 40cm x 30cm = 10kg


In this example, the volumetric weight of 10kg is greater than the actual shipment weight. Hence, the chargeable weight for this shipment will be 10kg.

Note: Delivery to remote locations
Some locations have been classified as remote due to distance from major cities or the capital of the district/state.
We do our best to try to reach most locations but where costs are not reasonable for us to achieve this, we will request that our customers either collect their order in the closest and most suitable major city/town or pay extra costs to deliver to their chosen address.

How do I make Payment?

We accept Cash payment to our Bank (Guaranty Trust Bank). You can also make payment via InterSwitch Quick Teller Online and via ATM payment platform


We will send you an invoice and it will contain our Account Number

Please write your name or unique Meykaya ID as the depositor so that we can reconcile payments. When we receive notification from our bank, we will send you an email or text to confirm we have received your payment. Please keep your payment deposit slip; you will need it when we are delivering your goods to you.


Can I pay you in Foreign Currency?

Yes. You can pay us in Pound Sterling Euros and Dollar. However, we prefer you to pay us in Naira. We will send you an invoice and it will contain our Domiciliary Account Number. Please note there is transaction cost of 1.5% of the amount you want pay in.

Can I use my Insterswitch, Verve, and Naira MasterCard?

Yes you can make payment Online (Not on Meykaya International website – we don’t process payment cards on our website) but via InterSwitch website www.quickteller.com.ng and using Interswitch Quick Teller or from an ATM at any bank in Nigeria. Please follow the instructions below

    Provide your customer details, Quick Teller will confirm these details then direct you to the payment gateway.
    When asked to verify your details, ensure you enter your Name and Invoice Number

  • Step 5 - On the payment gateway, select your card type and provide card details, pin and any other information that is required.
  • Step 6 - A receipt confirmation will be displayed for you via Quick Teller and also sent to your email.
  • Step 7 - Any payments made are recognized by Meykaya International immediately

Can I use your office as a forwarding Address?

No. We are not a mail forwarding company. All purchases must originate from us. However, you can get in touch with our technical partner on http://www.netcargouk.com who can offer you such service. Fulfillment of Meykaya’s orders is all implemented via this medium.


Do you deliver to major cities in Nigeria?

Yes we deliver to all major cities in Nigeria. All the states in Nigeria are covered by our delivery network. Your delivery charge would have been calculated to your delivery address in Nigeria. If collecting from one of our stations, we would have sent you your waybill number. Please take your waybill along with a form of identification preferably Drivers license or international Passport when arranging to collect your goods from us.

Customers residing in Lagos will automatically have their goods delivered to their address as specified on their Meykaya account. If however, you’ve opted to collect your goods from our office, we would send you a separate mail, instructing you to collect your goods from our office when it arrives. If you cannot come in person, you can send a proxy to collect on your behalf. We will ask some security questions and call you for confirmation. Proof of identification and a copy of your waybill/invoice are always required before delivery can be made.

Can I return or change my goods if I don’t like it?

No. We only accept returns only where we have clearly made a mistake.

Can I speak to a member of Staff?

You can request to speak to any of our sales team. ** Calls to the UK are charged almost the same rate as calling a Nigerian number. **

Do you have an office in Nigeria?

Yes. Not only do we have an office in Nigeria. We have a full fledged business in Nigeria. Our business is administered and coordinated from a wholly owned, fully serviced business depot. Our depot comprises of an IT backed administrative block from where support and after-care customer services to our customers are coordinated from. Our depot also comprises of a fully equipped warehouse unit from where fulfillment of orders are coordinated on arrival of goods in Nigeria. Our business address in Nigeria is? (Collection and Delivery office only).

Note: All our deliveries nationwide in Nigeria are conducted using in-house resource. All enquiries and processing of orders are carried out in our UK office.

Yes you can. If the site you wish to order from is not included in our displayed sites, do the following:


  1. Open another browser window and navigate to the site you wish to buy your item from.
  2. Under “ORDER” Meykaya ordering panel, select “ORDER FORM.” This will open a form field for you to type in or paste your site address and product details.
  3. Go back to your choice site in the other browser window, obtain and supply the information required in the forms on the ORDER FORM and click “add item”.
  4. You can add as many items as you like from as many UK sites as suits your purpose.
  5. If you are done adding items, click on “ORDER NOW” The rest is down to us.


Can i shop online through Meykaya.com without having credit/debit cards?

Yes. When you are sent our invoice, arrange to pay locally in Nigeria into our bank. See ‘Payment’ You will be given 24 hours to make a cash deposit or wire transfer into our designated bank. If you do not
make the deposit within the stipulated time, your order will be cancelled. However, you can reorder the item again following the same process.


What is your service charge?

Our Service charge is a maximum of 2% of the total cost of your transaction.


What is PS&DG Charge?

PS&DG stands for Product Safety and Delivering Guarantee. Because we understand the risk involved in moving your items from point of purchase to delivery in Nigeria, we charge this fee to give you absolute rest of mind regarding the safety of your goods. This charge covers and protects in full your purchased item in the case of damage or loss before it reaches you.


Are there any charges not disclosed?

No. All charges will be clearly spelt out in your final invoice from Meykaya International


Do you ship to other countires apart from Nigeria

No. We only ship to Nigeria for now.


Is it possible for me to pick up my purchased item(s) from your office in Nigeria

You can select to pick up your item from any of our offices in Nigeria during office hours of Monday -Friday, 9am to 5pm. You need to inform us of your intent to.

What if my purchased item (s) is damaged in transit?

Meykaya International will cover cost of repair or replacement.


What if you can't find some or all of the items I want to purchase?

Items not purchased in an order because they are out of stock will be put to the status of "Pending." You have the option to log into your Meykaya account and edit your order. After you edit your order and notify us via our customer service team, your order may be re-approved for purchase. If you decide not to proceed with the order, you will be refunded for the cost of the items not purchased. Where none of your items was purchased, you will be refunded in full. We do not prorate refunds in most cases. If you so wish, you can also decide to use this credit automatically toward part or all of your next order.

How can I track my order?

You can track your order by signing into your account using your username and password. Once signed in, go to your "open orders" and view the status of your order. You will also receive email and or text notifications for each status update.
